Optimizing Option of Refrigerant in Gas Engine Heat Pump

The option of refrigerant in gas engine heat pump is important for the cycle performance.Six groups of non-environmental impact or low-environmental impact refrigerants were selected.The security and compatibility with lubricant about the selected refrigerants were analyzed, and the cycle performance parameters were calculated by the equation of carnahan-starling-desantis(CSD).Based on the criterion of the first law of thermodynamics and primary energy ratio(PER),the values of coefficient of performance(COP)and PER were calculated. The results show that the fatalness of blend of R290/R600a can be controlled and the blend is compatible with lubricant in system. The blend has high COP and PER and may be a drop-in substituting for R134a.
