Applications of the Comprehensive Performance Optimum in the Design of Plate-Fin Heat Exchangers

The optimum design method of comprehensive performance and the compiled program of computer languages were used to seek an optimal value of flow parameters with the minimum loss rate of usable energy of unit heat transfer amount as objective function.Based on setting the heat current density of heat exchange and selecting a structure size of heat exchangers, the criterion relation of the flow and heat exchange of the flow heat exchange process at the two sides of heat exchangers and the iterative mode were used to complete the optimum designs of structure parameters, flow parameters, and heat exchange performance of the plate-fin heat exchange unit of a fuel gas-air single side fin.
