An Internet of Things Architecture of Micro-turbine CCHP System Based on Niagara Technology

For the purpose of energy conservation and emission reduction, CCHP systems have developed rapidly. In order to better guide engineering practice, an internet of things (IoT) architecture of micro-turbine CCHP system based on Niagara technology is built for IoT experimental platform. The IoT architecture includes sensing layer, control layer and transmission layer. The control layer includes one Niagara network controller and four IO modules. The transmission layer includes MODBUS and TCP / IP communication protocol. The sensing layer includes all kinds of sensors and field devices. The IoT platform can real-time monitor and control the micro-turbine CCHP system through Niagara modular programming technology, and access the browser interface remotely. At the same time, with the help of IoT technology, the platform can realize the integration of energy flow and information flow, which can further improve the energy utilization rate, reduce the heat loss of exhaust gas and effectively realize the cascade utilization of energy.
