Fibroepithelial Polyp as a Rare Cause of Bronchial Obstruction in a Child

To the Editor: Primary pulmonary tumors are rare in children, representing only 0.2% of all pediatric tumors. About one third of them are benign, and the most frequent are myofibroblastic inflammatory tumors, teratomas, hamartomas, papillomas, and neurogenic tumors.1 We report the clinical history of a child with an endobronchial fibroepithelial polyp, a tumor that has not yet been described in children at this location.
