The Influence of Overhead Collector Feeder on the Stability of Grid-connected Renewable Energy Multi-Converter

Distribution parameters of overhead collector feeders in wind farm and photovoltaic power converters have a great influence on the resonance of LCL filters, where the new challenges are brought to the design of converter control system. In order to investigate the impact of the renewable energy power plant collector system on the stability of grid-connected multi-converters, a mathematical model for multi-converters system is developed. The network admittance matrix is presented in the complex frequency domain to analyze the frequency characteristics. It is shown that the influence on the stability of converters varies with topological form and feeder length in the overhead collector system. The validity of the relevant conclusion is verified by simulation results based on MATLAB/Simulink.
