Networked control systems based on grey prediction compensation for network-induced delay

The insertion of the communication network in the networked control systems can induce delay, which may degrade the performance of control systems and even destabilize the system. Firstly, some kinds of NCS random delay are analyzed in this paper. Since the time-delay between controller and actuator is not available, we use grey prediction method to get predictive value. Secondly, a kind of state observer with the ability to compensate random time-delay is designed. Lastly, based on predictive value we use state observe to compensate random time-delay. The simulation results show the validity of the compensation method in this paper.
