Effect of Axial Clearance on Performances of Car Hub Bearings

The load distribution and displacements are obtained by using a numerical approach for car hub bearings,and then the effect of axial clearance on performances of car hub bearings are investigated,such as the moment rigidity and the fatigue life.Based on this,the theoretic explanation is given about the "wheel sloshing",and the design issues for the axial clearance are further discussed.
