The TRAC-system: An observation method for analysing work demands at the workplace

Many different observation methods have been developed to analyse work demands at the workplace. TRAC (Task Recording and Analysis on Computer) is an observation method which was originally developed at the Robens Institute (University of Surrey, UK) and further adapted by the Study Centre on Work and Health/ERGOcare (Amsterdam, The Netherlands). In this paper a description will be made of the TRAC-system. TRAC seems to be an useful instrument in practical work as well as for field study in order to analyse risk factors systematically.
