In this paper, studies on the diffusion simulation of liquid ammonia’s disclosure in a pharmaceutical factory were performed. And the scope of the accident was visualized in 3D model using Arc GIS software. This study can accurately simulate the emergency for toxic gas release accidents. In addition, the technical supports can be provided for the disaster assessment, rescue aid decision and government decision-making through quantitative and qualitative evaluation.
