Ultra-low power, band plan agnostic, hybrid optical/copper system for last mile access over twisted pair

An ultra-low power optoelectronic cabinet/DP solution for twisted pair transmission is presented. Use of readily available passive and low power components result in a reduction of over 90% in per-port cabinet/DP power consumption.
