Sensor Fault Diagnosis of HAGC System for Strip Rolling Mill Based on Wavelet Transform

Sensor fault diagnosis of HAGC system for strip rolling mill based on wavelet transform is presented.HAGC system is a servo system,so residual signal is acquired by using the servo relationship between sensor output and reference input.residual signal is analyzed using discrete wavelet multi-resolution.Fault sensitive feature is abstracted from high and low frequency of fault residual signal,by which sensor fault time,fault reason,fault degree can be diagnosed.Simulation research verifies that this method makes fault feature outstanding,make time domain position accurate and is effective for gradual fault as well as break fault.
