PLANING CRAFT

THE EDITOR Dr. Daniel Savitsky is director of the Duvidson Laboratory, Stevens Institute of Technology and has been intimately involved in planing hull research and hull design for over 25 years. He was a member of the Planing Craft Team of ANVCE and was awarded the SNAME Cochrane Award for research in planing hydrodynamics. Dr. Savitsky is a member of H-12 Planing Panel of SNAME and is chairman of the High Speed Marine Vehicle Committee of the ITTC. He is professor in the Civil and Ocean Engineering Department at Stevens.
