The study on maximum power control in permanent magnet synchronous wind generator based on inverter capacity

In this paper,the basic structure of permannet magnet synchronous wind generator system and the principle of the maximum wind power capture are discussed.An new control system with maximum power using permanent magnet synchronous generator(PMSM) is proposed.The motor loss model with considering the copper loss and iron loss is established and the relationship between the motor loss and the stator current is obtained.Based on the result,the optimal efficiency control of permannent magnet synchronous generator is presented.This control method is applied in the permannent magnet wind generation system.The motor loss is minimum when the wind generator is set on the maximum power point tracking(MPPT) control method.The maximum generated power is obtained by using the converter capacity.So the optimal stator current vector control in permannet magnet synchronous wind generator is obtained.The simulation results show that the control algorithm is validand practical.
