Results from the IPAS project: Influences of methods and tools, quality requirements and project management on the work situation of software developers

Abstract In this paper we present some results of the project IPAS 1 concerning the use and influence of methods, tools, product quality and project management issues in software development projects. The overall aim of the IPAS project is to analyze the work situation of software developers and to suggest guidelines for the improvement of their work conditions.
