Analysis and Disposal of Abnormal Temperature Difference Behind the Turbine in Aero-engine

The failure issue, that the temperature difference between the sheathed thermocouple and calibrated thermocouple which is out of design limits, always occurs in turbojet engine tests. With theoretical analysis and numerical simulations, the reason for this failure has been demonstrated as the mismatch between the temperature filed distributions and the thermocouple locations. Furthermore, the adjustment of inlet frames is provided as a improvement method, which is experimentally proven effectively with simple efforts and without effects on engine reliability.
