The research on the multi-layer survivability

Firstly, gave a brief comparison of the survivability technologies of IP layer and optical layer. Furthermore, through the close study of related researches in various multi-layer survivability of IP over Optical network, the conclusions of the consonant environment for various multi-layer survivability was drawn from the view of cost and availability. At the end of this paper, further framed the time model suitable for the fault recovery under the IP over Optical network architecture, and still classify the various faults under this network architecture, and even more set up the coordinative rule table of faults recovery for various environments. At last designed the multi-layer survivability algorithm according to the coordinative rule table under the unified control plane.
