Study of applications of spontaneous combustion prevention technology in high inclination-angle underhand stopping working faces with comprehensive mechanized caving method

Considering the practical situation of Getting colliery, main indexes to determine three zones in goafs of working faces with comprehensive mechanized caving method and the variation ranges of concentration of these indexes in the three zones are analyzed, and the specific ranges of the three zones are given also. The variation of ranges of the three zones after the construction of fire-retardant walls is given, and the influencing factors of the determination of the three zones are pointed out. All these are significant in mastering the development state of spontaneous combustion of coal in goaf and in adopting corresponding measures in time. In the paper, measures of spontaneous combustion prevention for high inclination-angle, highly gassy and underhand stoping working faces with comprehensive mechanized caving method are studied, and from the result, theories and measures of fire control for mine are summarized and perfected. The distance between theories and locale is shortened, and the theories and measures accord with mine better.
