Modeling of integral dynamics of Yantan ship lift and computer simulation

The main hoist system of the Yantan ship lift is divided into a number of subsystems based on substructure method; and the dynamics models for each of them are established and linked to form the integral dynamics model. In the calculation of simulation, the stiff damp moment of steel ropes and the friction moment is nonlinearly processed. They are added in force matrixes of dynamics equations. Dynamics response is calculated by using Wilson-θ method. The program is written with MATLAB 5.3. Simulation is performed on the normal condition under which the ship tank holds water of 1.8 m depth moving from high point to low point. The pull of steel ropes, the moment of transmission and synchronization shafts are also calculated.
