A SNR-based PSO Cooperative Spectrum Sensing Algorithm against Malicious Nodes

In cognitive radio, cooperative spectrum sensing can significantly improve the performance of spectrum sensing. The performance of cooperative spectrum sensing will be impacted when malicious users send wrong data to the fusion center. To solve this problem, a SNR-based Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) cooperative spectrum sensing algorithm is proposed. First, the OGK algorithm is proposed to solve the problem the estimate of the mean and variance are inaccurate when malicious data exists. Second, applying SNR to the initial position of PSO algorithm to make the assignment of cognitive users more reasonable. Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed algorithm is better than the standard PSO method in defending against SSDF attack.
