Disclosed are an information interaction method between on-board terminals, and an on-board terminal. A first on-board terminal, by sending a broadcast message, triggers at least one surrounding second on-board terminal to establish a first relationship with the first on-board terminal, the first on-board terminal establishes a second relationship with at least one third on-board terminal, and the first on-board terminal respectively performs information interaction of a corresponding relationship type with the at least one second on-board terminal or the at least one third on-board terminal, thereby expanding the information interaction range of the on-board terminal, enabling intelligent interaction of on-board information between more vehicles, and different information interactions to be performed with different on-board terminals, appropriately protecting private information.
