Multi-gigabit real-time coherent optical OFDM receiver

We report the first FPGA-based real-time implementation of a multi-gigabit receiver for coherent optical OFDM (CO-OFDM) signal. The basic CO-OFDM signal processing and BER sensitivity performance are evaluated in real-time.
