Avaliação da resposta do chá branco (Camellia sinensis) industrializado frente aos testes Allium cepa e micronúcleo ex-vivo em mucosa oral

O cha e uma das bebidas mais consumidas mundialmente, tradicao de cultura milenar, de origem chinesa, e configura relevante aumento de consumo na populacao ocidental. Os chas de Camellia sinensis sao conhecidos por possuirem atividades antineoplasicas, antioxidantes, antimicrobiais, antiinflamatorias, conferindo protecao contra varias doencas. O objetivo deste estudo e avaliar as atividades toxica, citotoxica, e mutagenica de cha branco industrializado, sache (para o preparo da infusao) atraves dos testes A. cepa e micronucleo de mucosa oral ex-vivo . Observou-se que a infusao de cha branco apresentou efeito toxico e citotoxico (P 0,05) de cariolise e celulas binucleadas, no entanto apresentou significância atraves da frequencia de cariorrexe (P < 0,05) indicando possivel potencial apoptotico. Estudos indicam que os chas provindos da Camellia sinensis possuem varios beneficios a saude, tais como: atividade antitumoral, anti-inflamatoria, antioxidante, entre outras. No entanto, deve-se atentar a dosagem diaria administrada, pois o excesso pode aumentar a ingestao de componentes toxicos produzidos naturalmente pela planta.
