Concrete stress monitoring and numerical analysis on new type rock bolt foundation of wind turbine generator

In order to explore mechanical characteristics of new type rock bolt foundation of wind turbine generator,a structural health monitoring(SHM)system was established on the rock bolt foundation of a wind turbine generator which was located in the new constructed wind power plant in Tieling development zone,to monitor the concrete stress state of the foundation during operation by using the developed computer platform.At the same time,the concrete stress states of the foundation under various loads were numerically simulated by using finite element method(FEM)and the ABAQUS software,and the results were compared with the SHM one.Both the numerical result and monitored one in-situ showed that the basic internal stress states of the foundation could be effectively obtained.The work provided references for improvement of the foundation structure design and the calculation of similar structures in the future.
