Predictors of the Readiness to Use E-Government Services From Citizens' Perspective

Thisarticleinvestigatedthepredictorsofe-governmentservicesadoptionfromthecitizens’perspective inGhana.Theresultsshowthatperceivedservicequality,perceivedefficientpublicservicedelivery, computer self-efficacy and perceived transparent and accountable government (TAG) were all significantinpredictingcitizens’perspectivetowardstheuseofe-governmentservices.Ageasa demographicfactorwasfoundtohaveadirectimpactoncomputerself-efficacyofcitizens.However, genderandeducationwerenotsignificantindeterminingcomputerself-efficacy.Theimplications ofthesefindingsontheimplementationofe-governmentarediscussed.
