Universal Calculation Model for Steam Turbine Gland Seal Systems and the Application

A universal model for calculation of gland seal system has been deduced using matrix method.During analysis with the universal model,gland seal leakage was considered from both the steam supply and steam return line,i.e.the auxiliary steam was classified according to specific flow lines,and one calculation model corresponded with a specific thermodynamic system.Application results prove this kind of analysis to be simple,clear and universal,especially suitable for computer programming.
