COMODEL - ein Repräsentationsformalismus für technische Expertensysteme

This paper presents the component oriented language COMODEL for the description of technical systems. COMODEL represents technical knowledge by means of a structural description of components and aggregates together with a functional description of concepts, constraints and physical properties. Functional properties of aggregates and components can be derived from those of underlying concepts, constraints and physical properties by COMODEL retrieval functions. Thus, a technical system can be modelled by a set of COMODEL objects for the use in technical expert systems.
