FECUNDITY OF BRACHYPTEROUS AND MACROPTEROUS ALATAE IN DREPANOSIPHUM DIXONI (CALLAPHIDIDAE, APHIDIDAE)

In Drepanosiphum dixoni H. R. L. the heavier the adult the greater the fecundity. However, brachypterous alatae are more fecund than macropterous alatae in the first 10 days of adult life as well as in the first 10 days of reproductive life. There is no difference in the weight at birth between the offspring of brachypterous and macropterous alatae.
