Torsion of the Gravid Uterus

Summary: A case of 90° dextrorotation of the uterus occurring in labour with successful outcome for mother and child is reported. Partial torsion may explain the occurrence of abnormal lie occurring during labour in the absence of detectable uterine pathology.
