Surgical Treatment of Mycotic Aneurysms

The successful control of bacteremia by antibiotics permits the survival of patients with severe blood-stream infections. However, it seems that mycotic aneurysms are being encountered more frequently because of this survival. The authors suggest a definitive attack which will eliminate the lesion and forestall embolism.
