Blueberry is a plant which has high potential of production and profitability in Southern Brazil, specially for exports. The objective for this study was to evaluate the effect of presence and absence of light and different methods of pre-wash of herbaceous shoots in the in vitro establishment of blueberry cv. Florida. Nodal segments collected of seedlings located in a green house, and herbaceous shoots obtained of seedlings kept in dark room per 15 days, were used as explants. The medium culture used was composed of mineral salts and vitamins of MS (MURASHIGE & SKOOG, 1962) added with 25 μM of 2iP, 30 g L
