New configuration of flux reversal linear synchronous motor

This paper proposes and investigates a new configuration of flux reversal linear synchronous motor(FRLSM). Two models are introduced and analyzed by 2-D finite element method(FEM) for simulation comparisons. Finite element analysis(FEA) shows that the proposed model generates about 239% higher thrust density than the basic model.
