Streaming Scenes to MPEG-4 Video-Enabled Devices

Streaming a remote walkthrough of a complex computer-generated environment is an emerging challenge in computer graphics. The size of most models precludes downloading the entire model from the server to the client. We stream real-time computer graphic scenes to handheld devices using object-based encoding from MPEG-4 and knowledge from a 3D model.
