Service matchmaking with closed world reasoning

Semantic service matchmaking plays an important role in web service discovery. OWL-s provides rich annotations of web services and reasoning techniques to perform matchmaking on such annotations. Due to open-world semantics of OWL-s, local closed-world reasoning can be introduced to the matchmaking process to improve the accuracy. In this paper, we propose a matchmaking algorithm which combines both OWA and CWA and at the same time is able to handle inconsistent cases in the matching process, thus provide much flexibility.
