Predictive control of a doubly-fed induction generator connected to an isolated grid

This paper presents a predictive control of a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) dedicated to embedded systems power supplies like aircraft electrical generation systems. In such applications, efficiency and weight are the main performance criteria for the choice of adapted structures. The predictive control presented here is synthesized on the basis of a graphical representation of the DFIG: dynamical equivalent circuit which is adapted to the design of controllers dedicated to generators. The controller proposed here is then validated by simulations and experimental results
