Large-scale recruitment under budgetary and labor constraints

A recent survey of the use of management science models in human resource planning found that this essential area is lagging other organizational functions' adoption of those decision-making aids, due largely to models' complexities, rendering them difficult to understand and costly to implement. This paper extends a simple large-scale personnel recruitment model, incorporating the very realistic constraints of budgetary caps and limited manpower availability, while retaining the simplistic features that make the resulting models useful decision-making aids
