A multi-path accessible semiconductor memory device having a function of transferring data between ports is provided to access a memory region in a memory cell array comprising a memory cell including an access transistor and a storage capacitor through different paths. In a semiconductor memory device, a shared memory region(102) is accessed by a plurality of processors(10,12) selectively by being connected to ports which are installed independently with each other in correspondence to the number of the processors, and at least one shared memory region is allocated in a memory cell array(100). A data transfer control part(120) performs a write operation through one port and then performs a data read operation by applying a read command through the other port promptly, when random processors try to access through the same row address through different ports and a write operation mode and a read operation mode are required in sequence.
