Usability evaluation of software applications with the use of Usability Logger

This paper presents the main characteristics and capabilities of Usability Logger software tool, used in the usability evaluation of Human Computer interaction interfaces. Usability Logger can be employed to record the actions performed in workstations, with the use of the I/O devices. In this paper the tool is analyzed, compared with other similar tools and used in a case study involving the usability evaluation of two software systems according to predefined criteria.
