Application of Wire-Shell Bolting Shotcrete Support in Soft Rock Roadways

Deformation characteristics and support type of roadway in deep high stress soft rock are studied during its service,and the whole process is divided into three dynamic support stages,such as micro-deformation,deformation,and accelerated deformation.As for the accelerated deformation stage,the stress balance has been completed in deep surrounding rock,however,shallow rock is becoming utmost broken.A new type of wire-shell bolting shotcrete support technology is quite suitable for reinforcing soft rock roadways in this stage.The support parameters have been researched and designed,tunnel convergence and internal force of support monitored,and some related data analyzed.The results show that the wire-shell bolting shotcrete support is very good in controlling the deformation of soft rock roadways,and is able to bear the effect of high stress and pressure on the mining.
