EFFECT OF SPACE IN AN ADHOC NETWORK

In this paper, we show the simulation of an Ad hoc Network under different simulation areas. Under each simulation area, we varied the node speed from 1m/sec to 10m/sec. We used perl script to extract data from the trace file and tabulated the same for the network throughput and the packet drop. Under these conditions no malicious behavior of nodes is considered. We assumed the nodes in the scenario in an ideal situation with no malicious activity.
