Method of Spread-Doppler Clutter Mitigation for MIMO OTH Radar

To solve the problem of spread-Doppler clutter shielding the slow ship detection of over-the-hori-zon radar(OTHR),this paper analyzes the causes of the spread-Doppler clutter,derives a signal processing model for the MIMO OTHR,and presents a method for mitigating the spread-Doppler clutter of the OTHR by combining this model with data jamming preprocessing,Theoretical analysis and simulation show that this method can be available for suppressing the spread-Doppler clutter and mitigating its impacts on the slow ship detection of the OTHR.
