Radar study of plasma turbulence in the T-10 tokamak

Radar experiments on the plasma turbulence in the T-10 tokamak are reported. The radar method is more convenient for studying long plasma waves than the widely used method based on the scattering of electromagnetic waves. Turbulence with frequencies from 50 kHz to 1 MHz was studied. The results---on the amplitude, radial profile, and frequency spectrum---agree with results of research on this turbulence in other devices. Two types of turbulence which were found in the frequency ranges 15--20 kHz and above 1 MHz have no direct analogs in the results found in other devices.
