A Research of GNSS RF Interference Assessment Method

The Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) was one of the main problems faced by Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), However, there were several limits in current RFI assessment method. Based on Multilevel Coded Spreading Symbols (MCS) Signal, a generic signal baseband model was constructed. On the basis of research of A/D model, interference coefficient model, effective C/N0 model, receiving sensitivity model and ranging error model including interference, a improved RFI evaluation method was proposed. Meanwhile, some important models in evaluation method were analyzed by simulation, and some useful results were got. The achievement by this paper would guide the frequency coordination negotiation between Compass and other GNSSs.
