Whole C-band, repetition rate tunable optical pulse generation using a high-resolution arrayed-waveguide grating and an optical comb generator

Short optical pulses with a center wavelength of 1527-1563 nm and with a repetition rate of 9.75-10.25 GHz are successfully generated with a 10-GHz resolution arrayed-waveguide grating with integrated phase and amplitude modulators.
