Implementation of a Wolfram Machine

In this paper we propose a new stand-alone hardware system that allows to emulate and analyze all the Wolfram's rules proposed in the book "A new kind of science". The system that we use to implement all the cellular automata analyzed by Wolfram consists of a led matrix and a board equipped with a micro-controller. This simple low cost system, opportunely programmed, allows everyone to emulate the 256 local rules without a pc and to analyze them, i.e. looking for instance for analogies between the rules.
