Multiple Involvement of Seventh Thoracic and Fifth Lumbar Vertebral Body with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis and Development of Incomplete Paraparesis

We report the case of a 9-year-old boy with multiple involvement of the seventh thoracic and fifth lumbar vertebral bodies with Langerhans cell histiocytosis and acute onset of neurologic deficits. He underwent anterior decompression with corpectomy of T7of the spinal cord and anterior arthrodesis with strut bone graft ribs to prevent progressive kyphotic deformity. Neurologic deficits and pain disappeared completely during the further course.
