Application of DG Model Distriubted Monitoring System for Dam Safety in Zhelin Hydropower Power Station

The introduction of system design plan and application status for DG model distributed type monitoring system for dam safety of Zhelin hydropower power station is presented. Normal operation over one year has proved that the system has features of advanced and reliable communication, power supply, measure and control unit, data management. Meanwhile, the system exists some shortages, especially in thunder prevention, sensor, collection software, and communication. On the whole, operation of the system provides powerful guarantee for safety of the dam.
