Mathematical) Modelling of MIC by Fuzzy Logic

For a rather complex phenomenon like MIC that not only involves the interaction bwteen lifeless elements of electrochemistry but does also involve the actvity of living things such as bacteria, it may seem too ambitious a target to be able to define a predicatble model based on mathematics. Fuzzy logic and calculations have the capability for this purpose and in this chapter we present one example of application fuzzt logic to describe/predict MIC.
