Typhoon Early Warning Modeling for Regional Disaster Evaluation

Traditional research on typhoon disaster mainly take the overall wind assessment or the path prediction of typhoon into consideration. In the view of the change of the global climate and the unpredictable conditions in typhoon forecast, the existing methods occur limitations in finding a way to do the typhoon disaster assessment in the different and concrete region of typhoon area. In this paper, a new regional disaster evaluation method for typhoon early warning based on the concentration of chlorophyll-a in seawater has been proposed, which chooses some sample points and do the chlorophyll-a inversion operation to get the concentration of chlorophyll-a in the seawater of the study area. The experiment shows that the proposed model can obtain the intensity of typhoon disaster in the different and concrete region based on the concentration of chlorophyll-a when the typhoon is coming.
