A Two-step Procedure for Analysing Multi-level Structured Data

This chapter discusses how a proposition on multi-level structured data (MSD) can be studied. We will argue that for the purpose of analysing MSD, the ‘conditional individual differences’ model of Davis, Spaeth and Huson (1961) is preferable. In this model group-specific parameters of individual level relationships are presumed to be dependent on group characteristics.
