Improvement of dispersion tolerance by SPM-based all-optical reshaping in receiver

Dispersion tolerance improvement through self-phase modulation-based all-optical reshaping in receiver was experimentally investigated using 10-Gb/s return-to-zero signal. We have confirmed that this scheme is quite effective to restore the optical signal deformed due to chromatic dispersion.
